Parents Force Teacher To Remove Bush Photo From Classroom
Veteran English teacher Shiba Pillai-Diaz has been forced to remove an American history display after three angry parents insisted that Democratic candidate John Kerry be included in a procession of US Presidents.
When Pillai-Diaz tried to explain that Kerry is not a US President, the parents bitterly complained to the vice principal. Pillai-Diaz says the vice principal told to remove the display, hand over her keys to the school and to not come back.
Many parents at the Crossroads South Middle School in Monmouth Junction, NJ have come to Pillai-Diaz's defense, saying she did nothing but try to educate their kids on who has been US President. School officials say nobody has been fired.
