No photoshop at all.. scanned straight off the film
RE: the border, i might have missed a step. Here goes from top to bottom
make a new layer.
select all
edit stroke to desired width.
hold control, click on the layer.
fill with spotty pattern.
select > modify > contract by 1
fill with black.
