I emailed the following email to my domain register adn read below his response. Then read mine back to him. It took a long as time for it to resolve which as I post this still hasnt resolved:
My Email to him:
I was woindering why it is taking so long for the dns to resolve,
when every place else that I register at its within 5 min.
HIs response to me:
5 minutes????
That not realistic.
It takes 24-48 hours just for the domain to be added to main
whois database by the internic.
If anyone is telling you 5 minutes, they are not properly
informed about how long domain name system works.
The fastest we have had a domain registered and resolving is 13
hours.
If you ha a problem with certain domain or nameservers, please
let us know.
We will investigate if there is problem if domain has been modify
longer then 24 hours ago.
lmao at that one lol
My final response to him:
LMFAO are you not updated? All DNS domains resolve within 5-10 min. Maybe you should read more into current resolving times. No one is telling me this I know this for a fact from other registers I use. Here's a couple of links to help you catch up on your reading on DNS resolving:
The direct link to verisign about the dns resolve is:
http://www.verisign.com/products-ser...ge_005513.html
and here are three links that will help you learn more about it. Maybe you should update yourself.

So yes 5 minutes is realistic if The verisign site says every couple of seconds.
