But i will tell you the main reason why you DONT become an organ donor.
I had a few friends in med school , and the organ donor bodies are the ones the med students get to test out .
He used to tll me disgusting stories of pranks they played.
If you really want to do something nice. Leave a handwritten signed letter in your wallet , allowing them to harvest your organs within 24 hours , and after that your body is to be cremated , or whatever you wnt.
Let your family know your wishes..

I've also heard stories, who knows if they're true, about doctors not willing to go the extra mile to save a donor because if the patient dies, they can still use their organs.
