'Proud to be white' is so general... So is 'Proud to be Black'...
They are both foolish statments when you think about them. But i must say that you should be able to put anything on your shirt you want to.
You just have to accept the consequences of what you wear. Same as these people dressing up all 'gangster'. You look that way, and then get stopped by cops and ask 'Why they picking on me ?'
Stereo types are usually made for a reason... However, there are exceptions to every rule. Take responsibility for how you look and present your self. If you look and act like a ignorant fool, you will be treated as such. If people who wear a type of clothing are committing crimes... Why would you want to look like that ? To draw attention to your self ? To look cool ? Accept what happens to you when the cops come around.
Being white, you have things to be proud of. The fact that they got their 'shit together' as a race, or the quality of life for a white person is much better on average.
However, there are also negatives. White people killed/enslaved/ruled most races they came accross. (but this could be somthing your proud of if your an idiot). White people are a strong race, but they have made mistakes as most 'people' do.
Being black has its positives, they struggled against being enslaved and were eventually freed.
Negatives, you have to worry about being hassled in stores and by cops etc... You have to worry about people not taking you seriously because of the media and the way they have glorified being 'ghetto'... People will have preconceptions about you before they talk to you.
Me, being Green.. ;-) I dont have to worry about such issues. Im proud to be green ! color of money...
Bottom line... Put up or shut up. Dont whine because sombody is proud to be what they are. Have some self confidence. If your attacking somebody because of what race they are, you must feel insecure about your race and/or your self.
Do more work, and less crying.
Is the shirt a good quality 100% cotton ?
