Actually I hear about these 1:3000 ratios all the time and since I've been webmasting I've NEVER, EVER had a ratio worse that 1:300 or so.

Well there have been suggestions here already made.
If you've converted 1:300 in the past and have been in the game awhile then you must surely know who the high quality traffic tgp's are...or how to optimize your pages for se's..how to build a free site or an avs.
