What about being present in the moment, every moment. When I foccus on the future, or the past for that matter, I loose control of what's going on right now.
My advice to your friend is to be herself, and let this guy be free from pressure. If he has the want as well, and he's inspired to be himself, then the 2 wants will combine in many forms ;)
