i watched it twice. in general, i am a fairly conservative person and believe in personal accountability etc.
After watching that movie and seeing McDonalds in public schools, realizing how much these fast food companies spend on advertising and marketing (well into the billions annually) and really finally considering the extent that McDonalds targets children.... coupled with the fact that there is no possible way that anyone could fund an advertising campaign to counter the message of McDonalds, Coca Cola etc. I really left there feeling legislation was necessary to curb their behavior and even though its more or less un american to do something like that in a free market, I could not help but to feel it was necessary to start tackling the problem this is creating at the federal level.
I was left pretty disturbed. I never gave much thought about so many State schools in many states feeding kids complete shit, or else they are all eating candy bars and coka cola for lunch. Thats insane.
