it's not the time involved. it's the reasoning behind it.
downtime is unavoidable, no matter who you host with. no host is immune to what happened tonight. who's to say this guy isn't going to switch hosts and experience the same thing at his new host in a week?
switching is understandable when the downtime is caused by the host, but it's wrong, rude and disloyal when it's caused by outside factors.
the host in question has one hell of an impressive track record with impeccable, unparalelled service.
liquidmoe, if you take on this customer, you better make sure you don't have downtime, because he'll obviously drop you in a heartbeat as well.
