I remember back in the mid 90's when Equinox used to run a webmaster "how-to" bbs. It was when Adult Check was boasting "6000+ sites in our network"

LOL, and I think half of them belonged to Equinox.

It wasn't too long after that the industry really took off. I wonder how many people directly relate their success to Equinox. I know for a fact that a lot of webmasters from those times don't like how he basically opened the flood gates for every Joe Schmo with a pc to run a mainstream website.

But then again one of those "Joe's" made it big. Bigger than almost anyone else in the business.... Isn't that right, Joe?
