It is a pod machine. Have you considered what you will do when Philips stop making the pods? You'll have another useless piece of kitchenalia. Personally I'd much rather invest in a machine that makes espresso the traditional way using coffee grounds. It may be a bit messier, take a tiny bit longer, not be as 'hip' but in 10 years, when your pods are long gone, I'll still be able to buy beans at the supermarket, ground them in my grinder, put them in my espresso maker and have fresh delicious coffee at my leisure.

yes you are right there. i tought about this too but i also know there are 3rd party companies that produce these pods too even phillips tells me i cannot use them - i can. so no need to worry, in the netherlands they are also cheaper, so if anyone here lives in holland, hit me up maybe you can send me some pods haha
