They have no plans to fix the problems but instead are going to open another company built around the existing one (bound to have the same problems if not worst) wouldn't you make a change? What would sticking with them accomplish?

Kerry may have thought the Patriot Act was good at the time. Our entire nation was stunned by the events of 911. No one took the time to really think things out. We were more concerned with another attack. Now he is realizing that the Patriot act is flawed and wants to do something about it.
