The one thing I'll say, with respect, is that if you create the biggest and most publicized domain sale of all time, and you go out of your way to let the world know about it, AND you reap the traffic rewards of it, AND all the inflation of the domain's value post-sale, you have to expect that people will ask questions. Publicity is a double-edged sword.
I really think you're taking this thread the wrong way. People are interested in the site, because you and Rick asked them to be. You used the media to tell your story--now you have to deliver.
If you made your money in private like I do, you'd have the right to tell them all to fuck off. Instead, you should be thrilled people give a shit enough to give you feedback. Use it and build a great site.
One more thing: I tell the truth. It's in my blood. I also respect people who build things. I respect Rick's accomplishments, but I've never been a fan of him personally. I know already that you are different than him in tone and style, so you won't flip out when I give you the straight goods.
Good luck with men.com.

Thanks DB. Everyone has there own way of making money on domains. I doubt many people here will understand our strategy, since its more of a long term combo real estate / dev / cacq approach.
