I don't think it is a big deal, usually when you cook meat the blood starts coagulating on the surface but as it is cooked to medium and because of the delivery time, the blood becomes like a paste looking substance on the surface of the meat. Usually just smell the meat unless it is soaked with other sauces.
I am sure you feel sick right now and the more you think about it the worse you will feel so either drink some water or go to the ER. If it is bad meat your body will definitely let you know.
