That and some temporary U.S. health insurance, doubt they accept the Canadian insurance, E.R. visits aren't cheap by any stretch of the imagination.

our medicare cards do cover US visits. some us hospitals may refuse them and by teh tiem it's cleared he'd already be dead though.
