Sorry Redshoe if you misunderstood my post, or maybe you did understand and it?s easier too label me as a film school wannabe so you don?t have to take into account my point of view. But realize I could just as easily label you as some film maker wannabe who has probably little experience in the field other then 3rd Gaphers Assistant on the set of Clueless. But I won?t.

There is little denying that Citizen Kane changed the face of cinema. I would much rather sit down and watch a film like Fight Club but I also realize that David Fincher, Steven Spielberg, and Sam Mendes would not be making movies like Fight Club, Schindler's List, and American Beauty had Orson Wells not made Citizen Kane when he did. That?s why I think it was the movie of the century. Purely because of the impact it had and the impact it will forever have on film.

But on another note, since there do seem to be some film lovers here, has anyone seen a movie called Wonder Boys? It came out recently and I thought it was great but have never heard anyone else say anything about it. It stared Michael Douglas, Katie Holmes, Tobey Maguire, Francis McDormond, Robert Downey Jr., and a few others I can't recall at the time. Anyway if you haven?t seen it I would suggest renting it, if you have what were your thoughts on it?
