I had a really radical idea. What if we nuked Israel? That would surely solve the conflict between the Jews and Palestinians over that land. It would be uninhabitable for decades to come so no more fighting over it. In addition, it would scare the crap out of the countries in the neighborhood. We could pull our troops out and bring them home and everyone would behave, or else. Once we're out of the "holy lands" then Osama's main complaint is taken care of and he and his followers stop blowing us up. Yay! Problem solved.
