i dig CSI New York. Sinise is a great actor and it's a lot darker than the other two CSI's. CSI LV is twisted, but kinda funny, CSI Miami is over the top and a joke, Caruso is a fucking tool. CSI NY had a toned down se7en feel to it, which i dig.
now, if i have to choose between CSI: NY and Law and Order, I think CSI: NY is going to lose.
