The republican party has traditionally been a pro-business party. It has taken a nose dive since it has been hijacked by the religous right.
I can't stand Bush and I refuse to vote for the guy. But Kerry pisses me off too As a high income earner, Kerry's "tax the rich" fiscal policy doesn't really appeal to me.
Although it will be quite a relief to see Ashhahahahaha gone. Also there would be a balance of power once Kerry is president since the Republicans will have control of the legislative branch. We can hope to see a nice balance of social liberalism and fiscal conservatism.
Anyway I'm still voting for Michael Badnarik of the Libertarian Party.
While I may lean to the right on fiscal matters (limited government, low taxes, pro business) I am as liberal on social issues (pro gay rights, pro choice, etc) as the next guy in this business.
