The first month is going to be the most fucked up time in a quitter's life. She's going to feel absolutely horrible. She's going to cough up and hack more than you thought was possible, and she's going to feel the very wind get sucked out of her.
I cannot tell you when it will stop, but for me, it stopped almost a month after I quit smoking.
Just tell her not to worry about "all those cigarettes" she won't be smoking, but to just know that she's not going to smoke the very next cigarette.
She's already over the hardest part if she's been clean for 2 weeks. If she restarts, then there's another problem.
