Nowhere in the US is it "legal". Some states and cities have passed laws making it legal for medicinal use (although, it's still a federal crime) and some cities have made it lowest priority for cops, but again... still illegal.
Did I miss the part where they learned about your use? Who turned you into DCF?
I agree that it should be legal if drinking is legal. Your just as likely to do something damaging when you're drinking.. even more so because pot makes you a little lazy.
