Seems like paying taxes would be a prudent thing to do.
I think it's fair to say that while society clearly likes porn, nobody wants a pornographer on their block. We are, for the most part, considered by many to be part of the underbelly of society. How many people would go to an event at their son or daughter's school and proudly exclaim they are pornographers? Not very many I'd bet.
So if you're operating a business that's already frowned upon, not paying your taxes is suicide.
