Good read. I will point out this statement..."we could begin to withdraw U.S. forces starting next summer and realistically aim to bring all our troops home within the next four years."
Even if the "wish list" Senator Kerry is proposing is fulfilled...the predicted results..."realistically aim to bring all our troops home within the next four years."
So for all of you people that think the conflict ends and the expense of the war ends with "President Kerry" at the helm...you of course are wrong.
Some in the current Administration and some current active duty military leaders (as well as retired) are currently saying that it will take four to five years to have a reasonably secure Iraq.
