Forget PR and work on getting your link on quality, related sites.  Unless google changes its mind (and let's face it with Google anything's possible) visible PR is now pretty much useless.

just becasue the toolbar isnt accurate doesnt mean PR became useless.
the directory shows updated PR for all sites for example!
