that particular model is less than an inch thick, less than 12 inches wide and weighs just under a pound. so it's not too big.
it would fit in most laptop cases without a problem and it'll slide under most laptops and be completely concealed.
for home use, it's no problem. for travel use, the extra weight/space is negligible.
