Earlier today I read about some porn store owner in Texas getting busted for not paying taxes and then getting some obscenity charge tacked on to it. Ok, big deal. I just read this article about the case.

Here's a quote:
"Federal prosecutors including an investigator with the Department of Homeland Security say their seizing several adult-oriented businesses in Austin. Now one of the owners is headed to prison."

The Department of Homeland Security? What the fuck? Didn't Bush create this to fill in the gaps that the FBI, CIA, and all the branches of the military couldn't in protecting the US mainland from terrorist attacks?

For everyones sake I hope they really are doing their job over at the Dept. of Homeland Security.
