I went to Oktoberfest a few times while we lived in Germany. Not once did I ever see a fight, not once did I see people there act likes asses. The first year we went, we were unable to get a booth, and some Germans and Italians shared their entire food and kept ordering beer for us!
I loved it there, I wish I could be there now. They really know how to celebrate!
