and don't forget your hard drives are in a raid setup ( which one by the way)...
If it is only a mirror, you could put the drive in a USB box to be safe.
If you are in a stripping setup. well be carefull.
I have here an extra add-on ide card ( 2 channels - 4 drives). If you want it, it's yours. You could add it, put your cd's on that controller ....
