Mainly because it would save them a lot of time and aggravation in the long run. I can only imagine what a hassle it is for guys like the hun to deal with all the fucktards out there, i wonder how many hours he and his staff waste every week dealing with it. Your point is well taken about saying fuck it and going completely partner or fhg, thats for sure what i would do too. And in the huns case you know he could sell every single spot everyday for damn nice money. You and i would probably agree that the benefits he gets from accepting public submissions isnt worth the hassle, but he obviously thinks different and thats his right. My point is, if you are gonna do that then why not do it right? It should be obvious after all these years that banning domains and similar stuff doesnt work very well. As a tgp owner, forget about fairness and convenience for submitters, just from your own standpoint, if you take public submissions the type of system i suggested would save you a lot of time and trouble. Some major players like the hun, shemp, and others could get together and establish such a system, which would pay for itself and solve a lot of problems. It wouldnt be perfect, but the way things are done now arent worth a damn for either owners or honest submitters. But you know who it IS good for, because there sure are a lot of them out there.
