Man up! stop being a pussy. Accept responsibility for yourself, your actions, your deeds, for everything you said and did not say and everything you did and did not do for those 5 years. 5 year relationships don't just evaporate overnight. you sound a little self centered... which explains both the break up, why it suprised you and why you now blame all women.
this will happen to you again and again until you accept responsibility for yourself. woman are easy. listen, make them laugh, compliment them, make them feel good about themselves and they will be your slave. it's not difficult.
if the girl left you for someone even before you broke up with her (obviously she did if she has a new boyfriend after 1 week), your relationship was already sucking for a long time and she was unhappy and you did not pull your head out of your ass long enough to notice.
