I am a canadian citizen, and not proud to say that anymore. We brought our grandmother from Ukraine (the last relatvie we have), she is 76. She has no relatvies back in europe, and obviously none to care about her. She had visa for 3 years, and today we got a call, that Canadian would not let her reunite with her family anymore, and wants to deport her back in the midle of nowhere, to abandon an olderly person, which needs support. My family pays more then a 100 000 dollars in taxes a year, and thats what we fucking get !!

Canadian Immigration truly does suck.. I spent almost 3 years of my life waiting for my papers to be approved and my mother is Canadian!!
From my years of BS with the Canadian Immigration I'd suggest that you get in touch with them and find out about extenuating circumstances allowing for her to stay. There are 'refugee' status and also you can get exceptions made. And you know who you should REALLY get in touch with? THE PRESS
Canadian Immigration Law does allow for humanitarian purposes to let people stay - heck, there are some polygamists here in BC who are trying to use those laws to let the wives stay in Canada LOL.. if they can do it, why can't you?

Then the government will have more than just YOU to deal with, especially if you get in touch with some multicultural societies, they often know some cheeky tricks to make things work out.
And given the high dollar amount of taxes you're paying then again, getting in touch with your local mp/mla and also the press will surely make a difference.

Don't let the bastards get you down man.. it's Canada, things are flexible.. and seriously, Canadian Immigration is almost an entity to itself, so don't hate Canada for what their stupid immigration does.. Canada itself is a beautiful country.
ALSO - if you pay over 100,000 in taxes each year, then presumably you make enough income that you can just sponsor her.. a sponsored landed immigrant, you just have to be responsible for her for the next 10 years.. but that shouldn't be a problem given your income, so perhaps try THAT route!
