And yes, I grew up pretty poor. My parent's didn't buy their first house until I was 20 (I'm 25 now). Everything I have I've earned in this business and I started with $0. I started in early 1997 but have made the bulk of my money since 2000 or so. So don't believe those who say "the good days are gone".
You can still get somewhere in this biz, you just need some brains and work ethic.
