You're not going to find them.
This country is as fucked up as any other - we just have fancier stuff to make us look better. It's smoke and mirrors.
We have poverty, homelessness, fighting in our streets just like many other places that we claim to be better than.
HighOnAcid put it very well.
We sit on our fat asses, pointing fingers and making other people wrong and we call it "Patriotism". When much of the time the things we do aren't any better or brighter.
