Clinton asked for the powers that were only granted after 9/11 in 1996. The Republican controlled congress refused to pass the laws to allow tapping phones of all suspected terrorists. Clinton even used the word PLEASE in his address. Fuckers.
And yes of course it happened on Bush's watch. Thats a fact, lmao. Like 1+1=2 is a fact. But to listen to Dr. Rice, "we were only in office for 232 days" before 9/11. She repeats that phrase 5 times in her 9/11 panel session.
You remember that commision? The one Bush didnt want, then caved into public demands and decided he wanted it. And Rice. You remember, she refused to testify, then caved into public demand. And you know, when shit is 10 months old, we all refer to it as "only 232 days" so it doesnt seem all that long.
So really, it's not a question of *if* they bullshit and sugarcoat things. It's a question of *when* morons will wake up and spit it out finally.
