Not the point. Muhammad was suposedly the "Prophet of God" and his behaviour was an example of what was acceptable for all men for all time. So now, due to his paedophilic tendencies (because that's what they were) we find that girls as young as nine are taken as "wives" accross Arabia, North Asia and East/ North Africa.
Our ancestors were not working with "God's" direction. Muhammad was. So you'd expect him to know what was right and what was wrong, wouldn't you?
