Control panel / Administrative Tools / Computer management / Disk Management.

Then find the drive that says "unallocated."

Right click on the drive letter and choose "Initialize."

When that's done...Another box pops up or you can right click the body of the drive and choose format.

Do not select "Quick Format."

That's it.
