I don't agree that they killed Al Quaeda completely and destoyed communication within it's different groups.

You can simply never tell it.

An attack as big as 9/11 can happen even tommorow again. No, I am not saying it will happen. I just mean that the CIA / FBI etc cannot be 100% sure, there're no Al Qaeda members in the US. And if there are, there're not playing baseball.
And in the muslem world money is never a problem. So as of today another attack may happen in the near future and noone can tell exactly how big is the danger currently.
