Oh one last thing that interested me in someone's response.

American culture is big on guns, and yes guns are a mancho power trip for most but not all. Yes almost everyone I know who does not have a gun hardly has any problems, those who have guns are always in some shit. They also act differantly when they have it and when they do not.

My little story.

I was in the gun store with my friend getting his new 1911. I am standing at the counter, he is on my left and there is an attactive female about 28 on my right. My friend's wife who works there is checking him out and there is a guy who is behind the counter also, he barely know us but knows my friend is married to his co-worker and that I am friends with both of them. So the owner comes up who jokes with me all the time and is a great guy and he makes a joke about the 1911 Shawn is getting and him still being a punk and walks off. So then I finish it off by saying "Yeah man you should get a Dirty Harry or a Desert Eagle, instant man maker, pheacalator, instant cock enlarger!"

At this point the guy behind the counter says in his best attempt to seem manly, "EH, there is a lady present"

Now in my head I am like "WTF" and I respond by dropping all emotion from my face, staring the guy in eyes and raising my right eyebrowl. The girl on my right chuckles and agrees with what I said. I continue to stare down amd the clerk who promptly breaks eye contact and walks off to do something else trying his best not to look me in the face for the remainder of my stay.

Any chic who is in the gun store getting a gun who is remotely hot is not going to trip on the word COCK. She is obviously not some prissy, easily offended bitch, she is a woman who probably lives alone and watches sports and hangs out with the guys.

To make this all fit together, everyone in the store wears a gun at all times, a pistol either on the leg, shoulder or hip. The question is do you think this guy would have ever opened his mouth to a stranger and as much as I hate to say it especially a black man who is powerfully built and is taller than him if he did not have his "courage" strapped on his leg? Keep in mind that this guy has probably disrespected women in FAR worst mannors than saying cock in front of one? The rational answer is no he would not have. The fact that he had a gun, is around guns, has that mancho attitude of cutomers around him all the time and the "good ol boy" mentality all came into play of him getting his nuts up and coming at me that way. What I did was show him I was not meant to be talked to in that mannor, if he had a problem with what I said he most definitely should have said it with some intelligence instead of trying to draw attention to himself. A simple "The lady probably does not appreciate that language, you should appologize" would have done. In the streets without the gun he probably would not even have said that.

Hand guns allow people to step above their level of power, it is instant power and authority to them, those who seek it often times are weak and timid by nature. Unlike others who walk around with a powerful presence and demand respect with their posture they do not know balance. Unlike someone who is confident in the ability to fend off an attacker and is mindful of surroundings and the tone and body language of others, they simply "know" they can do as they wish because they think they are the ones with control because they have it. My respect to those who carry guns but do not act like it, those who do not pull till they are squeezing the trigger, men who are men and women who are women before they get their guns and remain the same after.
