Seriously, here's why the picky shit doesn't work for you.
You're like 15, you're on a road trip vacation with your family, and you stop in at a distant relative's home for a visit. They invite you all to stay for supper, you telling me you're going to be all rude and pull your picky bullshit act?
No way in fucking hell would my parents put up with that.
Personally, when I have total control over what I can have to eat (like when I'm home or at a restaurant), I of course eat what I like most. But sometimes, when you have no control over what's on the table in front of you, for me it comes down to this.... I'm hungry, not choosey. I would rather eat than go hungry. And I would never want to insult someone by going all picky on them at their house when they've been good enough to invite me to share a meal. That's the way I was raised.
