If it could be proven true, I'd be the first one to offer up the rope to lynch Bush with. But it isn't true.

I think if something suspicious were really happening it's more likely they have him boxed in and will grab him when ready (see recent stories suggesting his capture is near). That would prevent anyone from talking and spilling the beans about previous capture when he is "found".
