Survivor thing is seperate, u can play it for fun - unless some sponsor wants to sponsor the Survivor part of the contest.
Survivor contest is you have to pick one team each week you think will beat the spread, you can only use that team once as your Survivor pick, one wrong and you are out of the contest. the field gets winnowed down pretty quick.
