Posting From A Fricking Mac Store At The Mall

OK, Hurricane Frances wasn't such a lightweight. Not that severe down here in terms of building damage, but trees down everywhere and half of Palm Beach County still has no power.

We just got power back up at our offices, but no DSL connectivity at home or office.

I was surprised GFY wasn't blocked from the Mac store here at Town Center Mall in Boca.

If anyone has sent e-mail I'll probably have thousands to go through so bear with me if it takes a bit to get back to you.

Storm itself wasn't all that scary. Saturday night was the worst when the winds just didn't stop.

I really can't imagine how the early pioneers founded this country without all the things like power, water, computers, solid bldg construction, etc. that we all take for granted. In a way its good to be deprived for a few days as you really appreciate everything so much more.

Cruised down to Ft. Lauderdale yesterday and had a great meal again. There weren't any restaurants open up here, no gas stations, no stores, nada. Things are just starting to open again today.

Anyway, hope everyone else down here is doing ok. Its such a mess with trees down all over the place. This was such a picture perfect place to live and now it looks like an overgrown jungle.

Messages:
