*sigh* No wonder you're ignorant enough to believe it.. you don't have any reading comprehension skills.. they're showing how doctors originally might have come to that conclusion but it was a flaw in the statistic data.
What does it matter if they're going to be cleaned anyway? It's the same reason I wouldn't take my plate into the toilet and curl a winding lincoln log onto to appreciate it's beauty before tipping it into the bowl - what's the fucking point? theres a small chance that your dishwashing skills won't be thourough enough to clean the plates properly, the same goes for a dishwashing machine which sometimes aren't as effective as they should be.
I bet you don't flush your head in the toilet just because you can jump in the shower afterwards.
People's ignorance just astounds me.
