Of coures nobody wants to sit in pee. Thats why you wipe down the toilet EVERY time you use it, without fail.
Of course it's silly to not look where you're going to sit, especially in the bathroom.
What you should do is either put the seat AND lid down everytime, or leave it the way you found it.
Life is WAY too short for piddling issues like this..
