but being on the subject, im curious... how can you be "ordered" to leave your property? can you really be forced to leave if you own the property or is this "order" just a suggestion? what happens if you choose to not leave even if you were "ordered" to leave.... if you own the property cant you just tell them to fuck off?

I don't think they can force you off, but they turn off power and water and such once they evacuate an area. They can and will phsyically keep you from returning to your property (if you leave) until they declare the area safe.
