im not taking part in this "my countries better blah blah" the only positive thing i've said about my country is the beer - im just suggesting why statistical HIV/AIDS rates are lower... i'd rather get a blowjob with a condom though.. never know what some other infected bastard had given her if she didnt demand their use..

sleepy> in regards to using '98 '99 figures (99 is the latest i could find and it's almost the same as 98 - which will prove my point) it doesn't really matter using two and three year old information in regards to HIV/AIDS the infection rate is a slow and general trend in western countries meaning that not a lot is going to have changed.. dutch rates aren't going to have doubled, and US rates aren't going to have halved.. but sure it may not be 4.5 times the dutch rate.. it may between 3 and 4 times.. now.. but you'd REALLY have to see some major changes to get those figures in such a short time.. and blocking HIV infected immigrants doesn't mean there is a problem either.. there is an island off australia that is trying to do the same thing.. it doesn't have ANY AIDS sufferers.. just trying to exercise their right to decide whether people coming there will contribute to the betterment of their society.... sure its a value judgement that they're making.. but it's got nothing to do with me..

speaking about the netherlands.. i read in one of their pro-drug policy things that australia has the highest rate of pot use.. twice as many people have tried it than those wussy dutch.. I wondered why a scottish friend said that we don't rate as drinkers, but we're cone hogs.. never really knew that.. and both the US and OZ are about the same in the drinking stakes Australian's being the 11th hardest drinkers in the world and the US the 13th - we're BOTH beaten by the bloody poms! warm beer freaks! they're 9th! i say between me and you we try and make up the difference

and yes sorry about hi-jacking the gun thread.. but when untruths are being perpetuated.. just think yourself lucky that people aren't going on about how their countries are better because they don't have guns and blah blah blah..
