At the "TGP2 Brainstorm" in Las Vegas last month, a gathering of TGP2 webmasters, I was able to learn some very interesting things about TGP2, compare data, etc. and add to the information I had already gathered.
Here are some facts:
TGP2 is 5 months old now though most of the "larger" TGP2 webmasters only started 4 months ago. There are at least a few webmasters making between $8k-$10k/month from their TGP2s alone. How substantiated is this figure? TGP2Bucks.com is paying two webmasters over $6000/month each. So, I feel pretty DAMNED confident
TGP2 webmaster are heavily concentrated on how to make more money rather than how do I get to the top of a counter? If you want to play the Hits Counter game, shit, play TGP1, that is really fun! Right? If you want to make money, I think it is a LOT easier in TGP2 than TGP1.
The BOTTOM line is that a TGP2 makes 6x the money that a TGP1 does for the same number of hits. So, a 5k TGP2 makes the same money as a 30k TGP1.
WHO can make money from TGP2? What kind of webmaster can most easily make money in TGP2? Honestly, I think that mod-sized (10k-100k) experienced TGP1 webmasters make the ideal TGP2 webmaster. If you can start a TGP1 with 5k traffic tomorrow, then you understand enough to be able to start a TGP2 with 5k traffic tomorrow. A 5k TGP2 is the equivalent of a 30k TGP1 $-wise, which is quite a bit more difficult to start for most webmasters than a 5k TGP2.
About the bookmarkers, the answer is YES, they do. I have too many of them on my TGP1s and I am just SICK of the poor money I make with my TGP1s.
