it's a dumb thing to say, but it's dumb to be subject to a prison term for just idly saying it IMO
Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert O'Neill alleged that Mazagwu said words to the effect: "The president needs to be shot. His father needs to be shot. If someone gave me bullets, I would do that. I would shoot them in the head."
I hear people post/say similar things all the time and I know many more think it and looking at the words of the statement, he was clearly joking... he could have got some bullets and done the deed if he actually planned on doing it... there are differences between a statement and an actual threat...
I'm sure he thought Bush was guilty of war crimes and in many ways I actually agree that Bush is guilty of war crimes since he started a war based on little and trumped-up evidence and killed many innocent people and sacrificed soldiers' lives..... What's the penalty for someone else for war crimes?
It's good for the Secret Service to investigate him and question him because of his occupation and location, but automatically qualifying for a prison term for something like that is wrong IMO....
