it's on their whois, for starters:

from GFY rules:
3. Anything goes, except do not post people's personal information, or attack people personally, stick to the issues. Also don't post links to illegal sites. And WHOIS information is public info, it is not considered personal information. So don't bitch at us if you put your home address as your personal info on WHOIS.
what's up with everyone sticking up for scammers today?

You are too easy, psyko...
The point is that the thread starter would have posted his info anyway - regardless whether it was in whois or not. This is more than obvious by his post. Let's not overlook that YOU are the one who is making the "whois or not" difference here and citing GFY rules. And not him. I don't see the thread starter mentioning that he is going to post the info "because it was in whois anyway" or anything close to that.
It is also obvious that the reason for starting this thread is that the sponsor felt "pissed off" by the post of that webmaster. For those who've been in this biz for some time. This does happen now and then and is usually caused by sponsors ran by people with problematic anger control and an overall sub-par understanding of this business and business in general.
I don't see the thread starter mentioning that he is going to post the info "because it was in whois anyway". All I see is someone who breaks the probably most important rule in this biz: Do not fucking post personal info. Why else do you think that posting personal info is not allowed on GFY? On a board where everything goes? Because Lensman and most other bigger sponsors have a brain.
All this is obviously nothing than a "response" to an obviously true and balanced post on a board. True, because the sponsor is not accusing the webmaster of not saying the truth in that post. To the contrary, he is confirming his post. Balanced, because there is no swearing at all. Actuall the WM is just posting the bare facts.
That is all what this "special case" is about
: That the wm had the nerves to mention - truthfully, and also not denying the circumstances - that this sponsor cancelled his account.
And regarding the C&Ds. No make that "C&D's all over the place":
So he had the correct info in whois. Yet the one getting "C&D's all over the place" is the sponsor, and not the person owning the site?
