We're going to die sooner or later anyways, I'd rather live to 50 and enjoy my life than to 80 and be miserable and worry about every single thing.

Now, losing weight is more like a challenge for me, to see if I can do it. It's not something I feel I *must* do in order to survive or feel better about myself. I have very high self-esteem as is, and I don't think that if I lose weight to normal standards anything in my life will change (except consumption of food most likely)
well that's good... like i said, to each his own.

but have you ever really given it a shot? n' i don't mean by following some diet in a lame fitness magazine or some fad diet like Atkins or South Beach... a real fitness plan, which worked, and you stayed on it and were healthy, at normal weight, etc.. etc... ??

if you haven't, then how do you know you wouldn't be *as* happy, if not happier than you are now with yourself and your life in general?

because, a real fitness plan is not like a pair of handcuffs on you, restraining you from doing the things you want... granted, there are restraints from particular foods, but the foods you can consume can taste even better than all that junk food. and it's not something where you have to play such specifically close attention to what you put in your mouth.

otherwise, if you HAVE been there, then I can totally respect where you're coming from... but if you're just basing your opinion from all of the horrible diet stories ya hear about, then you should really give it a try.

i'm not trying to be some annoying asshole fitness buff fitness trainer ;) but being that significantly overweight really can reduce your lifespan, which i'm sure ya know.
